Robert Lang

MANAGING DIRECTOR, COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Rob serves as Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate at Revitate. Robert brings over 30 years of real estate experience to the firm, having led more than $25 billion of acquisitions, developments, and financings for multifamily, office, industrial, retail, resort, self-storage, and residential land developments. Robert also has held key leadership roles in creating public-private partnerships to build affordable housing, K-12 schools, and transportation infrastructure. Prior to Revitate, Rob was Chief Investment Officer at Platinum Storage, where he co-founded an Opportunity Zone fund, raised equity from institutional and family office investors, and led QOZ investment activities. His leadership roles included acquisitions, development, equity raising, debt financing, investor relations, asset management, and due diligence. Robert also previously spent 18 years at the Irvine Company, rising to the role of Deputy Chief Investment Officer. During his tenure, he led Irvine Company’s capital markets group, with responsibility for corporate finance strategy, rating agency and lender relationships, and corporate treasury for the company’s 100 million+ square feet of commercial properties. Prior to the Irvine Company, Robert was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan and Bank of America. He has also served as Special Advisor to Tenant Inc., a startup prop tech company, for its seed equity capital raise and two successful follow-on equity rounds. Rob earned his bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley and his master’s degree at Harvard University.
